Wide Seat Cutter
The wide seat cutter was developed for people with longer legs or people that are used to the width of a common western saddle. It is not really a wide seat at all; it is just wider than the slim seat. By leaving the back of the seat wide and flat I found this gives a platform to sit on while your horse cracks through its turns with a cow. I have removed the “ledge” that many people complain about in cutting saddles, that tends to catch you on the inside upper part of your leg. This saddle can be made with an “intree” padding that I have developed in my tree making process. This gives a seat with some padding. It is not soft but gives some cushioning to relive the hard area under your pin bones, without altering the shape of the seat. |
